SATURDAY
Arrive Malpensa. Transfer to first class luxury or superior hotel in central Milan. Afternoon free for rest or shop. Welcome cocktail reception or optional welcome dinner.

SUNDAY
Continental breakfast. Depart for Le Robinie, an American style golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. This 6,520 meter course has many terraced fairways and tiered bunkers with several difficult holes. Transfer to hotel. Dinner on own.

MONDAY
Transfer to Dei Laghi Golf Club, 6,394 meters long, is a new course with beautiful views of Monte Rosa and the nearby lakes. The first several holes have wide fairways though in general the course is varied and rippled.. Transfer to hotel. Dinner on own.

TUESDAY
Continental breakfast. Transfer to Golf Club Varese (5,942 meters long), one of Italy's oldest and most beautiful courses. Late afternoon transfer to Stresa on Lake Maggiore. Evening on own..

WEDNESDAY
Free day to relax or have lunch on one of the beautiful Borromean Islands. Another option is to spend the afternoon at the Des Iles Borromees Centro Benessere, (health Centre/Spa) for a massage, sauna, etc. Evening on own.

THURSDAY
Continental breakfast. Depart for Castelconturbia Golf Club. This 27 hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones has 2 championship courses-the blue (3,121 meters) and the yellow (3,081 meters). In May 1998, the Italian Golf Open, Italy's most important golf tournament took place there. Transfer to hotel. Dinner on own.

FRIDAY
Continental breakfast. Return to Castelconturbia, to play the red course and either the yellow or blue. Transfer to hotel. Dinner on own.

SATURDAY
After breakfast, transfer to Des Iles Borromees Golf Club (6,455 meters long and 1,600 feet above Stresa) for your last round. This is a challenging course because of its steep terrain but worth it because of the spectacular views. Return to hotel in late afternoon in time for last miute shopping. Dinner on own or optional "farewell dinner."

SUNDAY
After breakfast depart for Malpensa for return to U.S.


Itinerary includes:
· 9 nights accommodations in luxury or first class superior hotels.
· Meet and greet at airport on arrival.
· Private transfers with driver in van or bus depending on size of group.
· Green fees.
· Guaranteed tee times.

Options:
Welcome and farewell dinners, new golf exercise class developed by the Centro Benessere, cooking courses, shopping and trips to vineyards with winetasting and meals for wives or those who wish to play fewer rounds.

GOLF ITALIAN STYLE: TUSCAN GOLF, COOKING AND SHOPPING

DAI 1 (Sunday)
Arrival in Italy. Transfer on own to Grand Hotel Villa Cora, a five star deluxe hotel overlooking Florence. Built by the Baron Oppenheim in 1865, this fascinating residence has now been turned into an elegant Villa hotel-with an excellent restaurant, personalized service and a fabulous swimming pool. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

DAY 2 (Monday)
Breakfast in hotel. After breakfast, transfer on own to Golf Club Poggio dei Medici, located in Mugello. This golf course has wide challenging fairways with protective greenside bunkers, providing a backdrop to the Appenine mountains. Surrounded by art and culture, the refurbished Medici style clubhouse is a delight.

DAY 3 (Tuesday)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer by private van, with English speaking driver to the first of two cooking lessons with lunch at Podere Le Rose in Gaiole in Chianti. Podere le Rose is a 13th century farmhouse turned into a cooking school by the DeMaris, a noble Tuscan family who have owned the property for centuries. Countess De Mari conducts the cooking lessons herself. Private van will return to the hotel after lunch. Afternoon free to enjoy the historic streets, shops and museums of Florence.

DAY 4 (Wednesday)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer on own to the Ugolino Golf Club for second round of golf. Situated just a few miles from Florence, Ugolino is one of the oldest courses in Italy. This beautiful course, designed by the architects Gannon and Blanford, winds through the Chianti countryside. It rewards accuracy and penalizes the errant golfer.

DAY 5 (Thursday)
Breakfast in hotel. A full day shopping trip, with a private van and English speaking driver, to the Gucci Outlet in Leccio and the Prada Outlet near Arezzo. Lunch in a typical Tuscan trattoria. Return to hotel in early evening.

DAY 6 (Friday)
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer on own to Le Pavoniere Golf Club for the third and final round of golf. Opened in 1986, the course was designed by Arnold Palmer and built on land that was Lorenzo de Medici's favorite-with fields and water pools dating to the Renaissance. The clubhouse is in a magnificent 18th century Villa. This course is a demanding one-while beautiful, it takes full advantage of all the Medici lakes and streams.

DAY 7 (Saturday):
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer with our private van to Podere Le Rose for the second cooking lesson on the secrets of the Tuscan kitchen-conducted by the Countess DeMari. Return to hotel after lunch, in private van. Afternoon and evening at leisure.

DAY 8 (Sunday):
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for airport and return flight to US.
