“A STEP ABOVE” TOUR 1
This is designed for lovers of wine and the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Transfer in early morning with English speaking driver and hostess to heart of the Chianti wine country. The Folonari family, owners of the world- renowned Ruffino Wineries, has designed this day especially for Sophisticated Italy. Wine-tasting of the Ruffino Chianti (their Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale is particularly famous). Then passing through the breathtaking Tuscan landscape, the group will arrive at Poggio Casciano (a few kilometers from Florence at Quarate di Bagno a Ripoli) headquarters of Ruffino where a classic Tuscan lunch will be served, accompanied by their famous wines—and cooked by the Folonari’s personal
Chef in their elegant dining room. A tour of the vineyards and ancient cantina will follow accompanied by another wine tasting, including a number of the Super Tuscan wines, which Ruffino is famous for. Transfer back to Livorno in the late afternoon. UPON REQUEST
