This fall there are two exciting events in the Serenissima. It is the 500th year of the birth of the great Italian artist Tintoretto. Venice is celebrating this special anniversary with two exhibitions—from September through January in the Galerie del Accademia and the principal one at the Ducal Palace. For art lovers, these exhibitions are not to be missed! There is also the Architectural Biennale which runs through mid-November—it is an amazing show of the latest in contemporary architecture.
